Day 1: Arrival at the Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu

After your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, you will get picked up by one of the members of our company. He will transfer you to the hotel and help you check-in. You can rest for the day, and later, in the evening, you will join a traditional welcome dinner organized by the company.

Day 2: Preparation for special permits and optional sightseeing tour

This day is for the preparation of the trek. If you want, you can go on a guided sightseeing tour in Kathmandu valley. The tour will include places like Swayambhunath, Kathmandu Durbar Square, Boudhnath Stupa, and Pashupatinath Temple. In the later afternoon, you and your trek guide will arrange all the gears and necessities needed for the trek.

Day 3: Kathmandu to Sotikhola (700 m); 10 hrs

After breakfast, you will begin driving towards Sotikhola. The drive will be long and scenic. You will get to see beautiful views of lush green hills and small villages during the drive.

Day 4: Soti Khola to Maccha Khola (930 m); 6 hrs

Today, you will drive to Maccha Khola. The drive will be long and scenic. You get to see the countryside view during the drive.

Day 5: Trek to Jagat; 6 hrs

Crossing a river, you will ascend to a Khola and trek through a beautiful gorge full of unique rocks and waterfalls. You then cross a bridge and climb to Kholabesu. The trail further, crosses Budhi Gandaki on a thrilling suspension bridge and reach Dobhan. From here, you will ascend and descend a few times and reach Jagat.

Day 6: Trek to Lokpa; 5 hrs

After registering your restricted area permit, you will ascend on a ridge that will take you to Salleri. From here, you will trek along a riverbank and cross Budhi Gandaki River on a long suspension bridge. Passing by Ekle Bhatti and a few other villages, you will reach Lokpa. It is the first village in Tsum Valley. You will get to see amazing views of Mt. Himalchuli and Boudh Himal.

Day 7: Trek to Chumling; 4 hrs

The trail will be tough and trodden today. Enjoying superb views of Boudha Himal and Ganesh Himal VI, you will descend to the Lungwa river valley. The trail then ascends through the dense forest of pine and rhododendron. You will trek through small villages and cross Syar Khola and reach Chumling.

Day 8: Chumling to Chekampar (3,031 m); 5-6 hrs

Crossing a suspension bridge, you will trek through lush forest, where you get to see white-faced langurs. From here, you trek and reach a small Damphe Gompa. the trail then descends and crosses Sarphu Khola. Further, you will ascend and reach Chekampar.

Day 9: Chekampar to Nile (3,361 m); 5-6 hrs

Today, you will ascend above Chekampar. Passing by Lama Gaon, you reach Ranchen gompa and ascend to Milarepa cave. Further, crossing Shiar Khola, you trek through Phurbe and Pangdun villages. The trail passes through few other villages and ascends. Crossing a bridge, you will reach the Nile.

Day 10: Trek to Mu Gompa (3,361 m); 4 hrs

The trail ascends towards the most isolated part of the Tsum Valley today, Mu Gompa. Here you will visit the biggest gompa in the region.

Day 11: Trek to Chekampar (3,031 m); 6 hrs

Leaving Mu Gompa behind, you will begin trekking back to Chekampar. Following the same trail, you will reach the Nile and head towards Chekampar.

Day 12 Chekampar to Chumling (2,386 m); 6-7 hrs

After having breakfast, you will begin trekking back to Chumling. The trail will be the same as before.

Day 13 Chumling to Deng (1,860 m); 7 hrs

Leaving Chumling behind, you will trek through subtropical forests, small villages, and rivers. The trail will take you to Salleri and descend the Sirdibas. From here, you will trek and reach Ghatta Khola and continue trekking until you reach a suspension bridge. You will cross the bridge and reach Philim. Further, trekking in the north, you will reach Ekle Bhatti and descend to a grassy slope. You will then cross Budhi Gandaki river a few times and pass by bamboo forests to reach Deng.

Day 14: Trek to Namrung (2,630 m); 5 hrs

You will cross Budi Gandaki several times. On the way, you will get to see superb views of the mountains and come across many gompas. The trail then ascends through the forest, cross a river, and descend to a narrow gorge. From here, you will walk and reach Namrung.

Day 15: Trek to Lho (3,157 m); 3-4 hrs

From Namrung, the trail ascends towards Lho Gaon. Trekking through the forest, you will reach Lihi and descend where you will cross a valley. Passing by Sho village, you will reach Lho Gaon for a night stay.

Day 16: Trek to Sama Gaun (3,530 m); 3-4 hrs

The trail to Sama Gaun will be easy and beautiful. Following the right bank of a river, you will ascend through lush forests and reach Shyala village. You will get to see amazing views of Mt. Himalchuli, Mt. Manaslu, and several other mountains. The trail passes through terraced fields and ascends to Sama Gaun.

Day 17: Trek to Samdo; 3-4 hrs

Crossing pastures, you will slowly ascend towards Samdo. On the way, you will get to see wonderful views of Mt. Manaslu. Upon reaching the Tibetan refugee villages, Samdo, you will walk around and rest for the day.

Day 18: Trek to Dharmasala; 3-4 hrs

After having breakfast, you will begin trekking. Crossing a couple of streams, you will trek and reach Dharmasala.

Day 19: Trek to Bimthang; 8-9 hrs

You will trek along a moraine on a rocky trail and reach a beautiful turquoise lake. From here, the trail becomes a little challenging. Crossing Larkya Pass, you will descend on a slippery path to the moraine of Salpudanda glacier. Further, you will walk and reach Bimthang that will welcome you with fantastic views of Cheo Himal, Himlung Himal, Annapurna II, Gyaji Kung, and Kang Guru.

Day 20: Bimthang to Dharapani (2,300 m); 6 hrs

Today, the trail gradually descends to Dharapani. On the way, you will pass by a small settlements area and forested path.

Day 21: Dharapani to drive Kathmandu (1,400 m); 9 hrs

After having breakfast, you will drive to Kathmandu. The drive is scenic. You will reach Besisahar, where you will take a small lunch break and continue towards Kathmandu. Upon reaching Kathmandu, you will move to the hotel. The rest of the day is free for you to relax or explore around.

Day 22: Final departure

You will be picked up by one of our representatives at the hotel lobby. He will drop you at the international airport terminal gate and bid our last goodbye to you.
