If you live in low altitude or on a sea level, and you suddenly go on trek or journey that will take you above 2,000 or 4,000 meters above, there is a high chance of getting altitude sickness if not acclimated properly. Likewise, Everest Three Passes Trek will lead you above 5,000 meters. Also, drink plenty of water to avoid altitude sickness.

Best Season to go on Everest Three Passes Trek

The high passes in this trek are filled with snow most of the year, so you must select the proper time to explore it. The best available option is to explore during the Autumn season, which starts in October and ends at mid-December. The snow is also not too much and the sun is not too overpowering as well. The monsoon clears the clouds and fog, which provides you with clear views of mountains. Likewise, Spring is another good time to go on Everest Three Passes Trek.

However, Monsoon (June to mid-September) and Winter (December to February) is not a preferable time to go on Everest Three Passes Trek. The rainfall makes the views unclear and trail also become slippery & full of insects. And, the harsh cold makes the journey almost impossible.
