Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu via respective airlines
Upon your arrival at Nepal airport, you will be welcomed by one of our team members. He will introduce himself and take you to the hotel in a private car/van. You can relax on a remaining day. Later, in the late evening, you will join the welcome dinner organized by the company, and end your day strolling around Thamel.
Day 02: Fly to Lukla (2,820 m) and walk to Phakding (2,640 m); 4 hrs
Today, you will fly to one of the most extreme airports in the world, Lukla airport. The flight will give you first view of snow-capped mountains. Upon landing at Lukla airport, you will get freshen up and meet other crew members. After some time, you will begin gradually descending towards Phakding village through the forested trail. The trail then goes along the Dudh Koshi River and take you to this village from where a superb view of Kusum Kanguru Peak can be seen.
Day 03: Trek to Namche Bazaar (3,440 m); 5 hrs
It is your rest day to acclimate your body with the altitude. You will spend this day exploring around. In the morning, you will go on a short excursion to Syangboche Airstrip or Everest View Hotel to observe excellent views of Himalayan mountains like Mt. Everest, Mt. Ama Dablam, Mt. Thamserku, Kongde Ri, etc. After the short tour, you will come back to Namche Bazar, and visit the Everest Photo Gallery and Sherpa Culture Museum.
Day 04: Rest day at Namche for acclimatization and local hike
Today is your day of a rest day in beautiful Namche Bazar. You will spend this day exploring around. In the morning, you will go on a short excursion to Syangboche Airstrip or Everest View Hotel to observe excellent views of Himalayan mountains like Mt. Everest, Mt. Ama Dablam, Mt. Thamserku, Kongde Ri, etc. After the short tour, you will come back to Namche Bazar, and visit the Everest Photo Gallery and Sherpa Culture Museum.
Day 05: Trek to Dole (4,200 m); 6 hrs
Leaving Namche Behind, you will begin trekking on a nice path enjoying wonderful views of high Himalayan mountains like Taboche Peak (6,501 m) and Chola Tse (6,440). The trail will take you to Kyangjuma and ascend towards Mong La Pass. From here, you will descend and reach Phortse Tenga, and again ascend towards Dole.
Day 06: Trek to Machhermo (4,470 m); 4 hrs
After having a warm breakfast, you will slowly begin ascending towards Machhermo. You will reach Luza where the trail passes by a couple of tea shops. From here, the trail will take you to Machhermo village that will welcome you with a fantastic view of Mt. Cho Oyu in the north.
Day 07: Trek to Gokyo Lake (4,790 m); 4 hr
The trail ascends to a ridge from where stunning views of Mt. Kangtega and Mt. Cho Oyu can be seen. From here, you will trek and pass by Pangka (4,390 m). Further, you will descend to a river and climb uphill to the terminal moraine of the Ngozumpa glacier. The climb will be on a steep path, therefore be careful while ascending. You will then pass by first lake Longponga (4,650 m) and second lake Taujung (4,710 m), you will reach Gokyo village.
Day 08: At Gokyo hike to Gokyo Ri (5,357 m), afternoon free to relax and enjoy the views
After having a warm breakfast, you will go on a short hike to Gokyo Ri from where you will see breath-taking views of Mt. Everest, Mt. Makalu, Mt. Cho Oyu, Mt. Lhotse, Mt. Nuptse, and several other mountains. You will spend some time at the top and descend back to Gokyo village for night stay.
Day 09: A leisure morning at Gokyo and walk to Thaknak (4,750 m); 4hrs
Today, you will wake up, have your breakfast, and explore around the village. After a few hours, you will begin trekking towards Thaknak. The trail will be short and present you with wonderful views of snow-capped mountains.
Day 10: Cross Cho-la Pass (5,367 m) to Dzongla (4,830 m); 7 hrs
The day will start early in the morning as you will cross another pass. After having breakfast, you will begin climbing uphill to the pass from where heart-whelming views of Himalayan landscape can be observed. The trail then descends to Dzongla, a small hidden valley where you will spend the night.
Day 11: Trek to Lobuche (4,930 m); 5 hrs
Looking over superb view of Mt. Ama Dablam, Mt. Tawache, Mt. Nuptse, and north of Pokalde, you will trek and reach a junction that connects path from Pheriche to Thugla ridge. You will ascend and reach Lobuche.
Day 12: Trek to Everest Base Camp (5,364 m), return to Gorakshep (5,180 m); 6 hrs
The trail will lead you to the base of the world's highest mountain, Mt. Everest. It is going to be a long yet adventurous day. After a quick breakfast, you will ascend and reach Gorakshep. From here, the trail goes along the Khumbu glacier moraines and take you the EBC. Upon reaching the base camp, you will see excellent views of the Khumbu Icefall, Mt. Everest, Mt. Lhotse, Mt. Kongde, Mt. Thamserku, Mt. Nuptse, Mt. Pumori, Island Peak, Mt. Cho Oyu, and numerous other mountains. After spending some time at the Everest Base Camp, you will trek back to Gorak Shep.
Day 13: Hike to Kalapathar (5,545 m), trek to Pheriche (4,240 m); 5 hrs
You will wake up early in the morning to go on short excursions to the Kala Patthar viewpoint early in the morning to see a sumptuous sunrise. Also, from Kala Patthar, you can see a 360-degree view of Mt. Everest and its surrounding mountains. After soaking beautiful views, you will descend to Pheriche or night stay.
Day 14: Trek to Kyanjima (3,630 m), near Namche & Khumjung via Thyangboche; 6 hrs
The trail passes by several small villages and lush forest. You will reach Kyanjima, which is located near Namche Bazar. The trail the take you to Pangboche. From here, you will walk a little more and reach Thyangboche Monastery.
Day 15: Trek to Monjo (2,880 m); 6 hrs
After having breakfast, you will slowly descend and reach Namche Bazar. Here, you will take a short lunch break and descend further down to Monjo via Sagarmatha National Park.
Day 16: Trek to Lukla; 4 hrs
Leaving Monjo behind, you will descend and reach Phakding village. From here, you will begin trekking along the Dudh Koshi River and then ascend through the forested trail to reach Lukla. You will be retracing the same path as before.
Day 17: Fly back to Kathmandu and transfer to your hotel
An early morning flight will take you back to Kathmandu. Upon reaching Kathmandu, you will be moved to the hotel. Rest of the day is free for you to explore the nearby market and do shopping. Later, in the late evening, you will have a farewell dinner organized by the company.
Day 18: Free day in Kathmandu with an optional sightseeing tour
You can use this day for guided sightseeing of the monuments like Pashupatinath Temple, Boudhnath Stupa, Swayambhunath, Kathmandu Durbar Square, or just relax and do shopping.
Day 19: Transfer to the international airport
As per your flight departure time, you will get moved to the airport by one of our team representatives. He will drop you at the international airport terminal gate and bid you our last goodbye & good wishes.
