Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu (1,300 m)
Upon your arrival at the airport, you will get received by one of our team members. He will take you to the hotel and inform you about the day program. In the evening, you will have a welcome dinner and meet with your guide.
Day 02: Kathmandu to Darbang (1,100 m)
Today, you will take a flight to Pokhara. From here, you will drive towards Darbang. On the way, you will get to see beautiful views of lush hills and snow-capped mountains. Driving along the Kali Gandaki River, you will pass by Beni, and further, follow Myagdi Khola to reach Darbang.
Day 03: Trek to Sibang (1,770 m); 6/7 hrs
The trail ascends to a ridge-top village of Dharapani. You will get to see the stunning view of Mt. Dhaulagiri, Putha Hiunchuli, and Gurja Himal. The trail further moves along a ridge above a river and leads you to Sibang.
Day 04: Trek to Naura Bhir (1,450 m); 7/8 hrs
After having breakfast, you will descend to Gatti Khola. The trail from here ascends to Muri where Dhara and Myagdi rivers meet. Further, crossing a bridge over Dhola Khola, you will descend through beautiful terraced fields.
Day 05: Trek to Lapche Kharka (2,000 m); 7/8 hrs
After a quick breakfast, you will continue trekking towards Lapche Kharka. The trail will pass by scattered settlement areas and terraced fields to take you to Lapche Kharka.
Day 06: Trek to Sallaghari (2,500 m); 6/7 hrs
Looking over the wonderful landscape, you will move towards Sallaghari, a beautiful village. The trail gradually ascends through small villages and forested trail.
Day 07: Trek to Italian Base Camp (3,660 m); 4/5 hrs
The trail today will take you to the Italian Base Camp through small villages and terraced fields. As you ascend, you will get to see beautiful landscape view.
Day 08: Trek to Japanese Camp (4,200 m); 3/4 hrs
Trekking through the rugged steep trail, you will cross several glacier moraines. Soon you will reach a grassy area known as Japnese Base Camp. From here, you will get to see wonderful views of Mt. Dhaulagiri and Tsaurabong Peak.
Day 09: At Japanese Camp
This is your rest day at Japnese Camp. You will explore around and relax for the day to restore your stamina.
Day 10: Trek to Dhaulagiri Base Camp (4,748 m); 7/8 hrs
The day begins with a tough walk on glaciers and lateral moraines. You will move slowly up to the Dhaulagiri Base Camp. The path will be tough and dangerous, therefore walk carefully. Upon reaching the base camp, you will get to see views of numerous Himalayan mountains along with stunning icefall dropping from Dhaulagiri and Tukuche Peak.
Day 11: Rest at Dhaulagiri Base Camp
This is another rest day to acclimate your body and restore the stamina. You will spend the day exploring around the base camp and go on small hikes.
Day 12: Trek to Hidden Valley (5,120 m) via French Pass (5,360 m); 6/7 hrs
The day begins with a trek on the north side of Chhondarban Glacier. The trail ascends slowly along the steep hillside. Further, following a zigzag trail across moraines, you will reach the French Pass. From here, the trail descends through snow slopes and takes you to the gorgeous Hidden Valley.
Day 13: At Hidden Valley
This day rest day at Hidden Valley to acclimate your body and explore around. It is also good to have rest days in case if you face bad weather.
Day 14: Trek to Yak Kharka (3,837 m) via Dhampus Pass; 8/9 hrs
Crossing Dhampus Pass, you will move towards Yak kharka. The trail will offer you amazing views of the Annapurna range and Dhaulagiri range. On the way, you will also come across the avalanche-prone area.
Day 15: Trek to Jomsom (2,736 m); 4/5 hrs
The trail further descends along a steep trail and takes you to Marpha. Marpha is a beautiful village also known as the apple capital of Nepal. From here, you will pass through lovely whitewashed houses, paved streets, and the Kali Gandaki River to reach Jomsom.
Day 16: Jomsom to Pokhara
Today, you will fly back to Pokhara early in the morning. The flight will be scenic and short. In the evening, you will explore the vibrant Lakeside market and do boating on tranquil Fewa Lake.
Day 17: Pokhara to Kathmandu
Another flight and you will reach back to Kathmandu. The rest of the day is free for you. Explore the nearby markets and monuments. Do shopping and relax. In the evening, you will have a farewell dinner organized by the company.
Day 18: Final departure
You will get transferred to the airport as per your flight schedule by one of our team members.
